I was reared on a small farm in Western Pennsylvania. I graduated from Penn State, spent five years as a naval officer and began my career in Human Resources at Campbell Soup Company. I took 13 years out and taught middle school science and then back into industry in HR. MY last day job was HR Director of a hospital in Michigan. In 2004 I published my first book "Dare to Lead". I have served as an adjunct at three universities.
